The Appledore Singers

Centred around Appledore, the choir, founded in 1985, is led by their Musical Director, Pam Beechey, and accompanied on piano by her husband Chris, who is also an accomplished organist. The Choir has become a well-known and popular part of the local music scene with present members coming from as far afield as Braunton and Shebbear.

We enjoy performing in the locality and sometimes go further afield. Any venue or occasion will be considered. These can include village halls, clubs, churches, W.I.'s, weddings and even the odd funeral. We do not generally make a charge for performing but a donation is more than welcome.

Membership of the choir is open to female voices only. Our M.D. is always looking to welcome new members. People who are interested in joining are asked to contact Pam so that she can talk you through what the choir is all about. Click on the Enquiries page for contact details.

Rehearsals are at Appledore Primary School every Monday 7.30 - 9.00 p.m.

You can read what people have to say about us here.
